As an honorable mention in the Best Experience Transformation category for the Americas, this project showcased how pursuing a digital “modernization journey” can positively impact brands and their customers.
The new Acura TLX Type S PMC exemplifies technology and craftsmanship. This highly exclusive, handcrafted model is offered in three colors, with only 50 units per color available. To boost anticipation and launch the limited-edition model, WTC&T built an online system that allows shoppers to reserve a vehicle with a deposit before it goes on sale.
Sitecore’s Experience Platform and Managed Cloud services supported the complex systems integration required between the client and dealerships. In addition, the opportunity to efficiently deliver content at scale to a larger audience allowed customers to find products more quickly and resulted in increased new site visits and higher conversions.
Excitingly, on October 6th, the first model in Curva Red was released. All 50 sold out within 30 minutes of launch with half of the reservations submitted within three minutes. The waitlist cap was also met.
